doesn't sound like powell considered all alternatives before he dumped his friend mccain. Powell is washington politics and imo why he jumped ship to endorse Obama. Not because he didn't support mccain but because it was the popular thing to do and perhaps thinking about how history will treat him................ It only confirms to me that Powell made his general stars through poltics and not in what he really believed in. the typical executive who plays the game to get ahead.
