Almost all cookies are bad. SI has a good cookie that recognizes who you are so you don't have to log in every time. Those kinds of cookies are really the only good cookies. Cookies are eventually going to be one of the banes of the internet. We are headed for a web clouded with complex bloated code where sites collect data and constantly hassle you with ads. It's a war even now, and it's going to get worse. I wonder if there will be alternate internets.
