hi ev1-- I celebrate 20 years sobriety this weekend. 41 years ago I was heavy in foal (horse talk about a mare that is almost ready to have her foal-(baby). On my only son`s 21st birthday, he called me to remind me that I had missed his birthday. He was born -( foaled) on July 6th, 1968. I had totally forgotten about it because I was too busy drinking. Shortly after that phone call, I walked into the rooms of alcoholics anonymous and have been sober since. Today I am veryyyyyyyyyy grateful to be sober. Go to AA regularly. Happy July 4th ev1. My sobriety date was July 11th ,1989. Jamie
