Let me give you some opinion about the problems in the Asian markets.
I was in Malaysia this summer, when the stock market was in turmoil there. The problem in far east has nothing to do with there economies.
I saw that growth rate in Malaysia is much higher than growth rate over here in california. The stock markets are down because of currency devaluation. Currency devaluation are caused by speculators who are attacking each country in Asia. People say that these countries had higher debt ratios, which country doesn't. Take us for example, we have the highest deficit. It doesn't mean that US dollar should come under attack by speculators. What has happened is that Chinese are not bowing down to speculator (mainly George Sorrows) to devalue there currencies, and that's the cause of bad mouthing Asia.

When I was in Malaysia I heard that if George Sorrows enters Malaysia again, he will be arrested for destroying the malaysian stock markets.
Now to your question, if the problem is created by market manipulations and underlying fundamentals of asian markets are ok, than why the demand will go down and why ASND will be at risk of losing contracts in Asia, particularly recent Japan telecom order.
