Europe's free, state-run health care has drawbacks
As US tackles health care reform, some Europeans warn against too much government control

"Obama has pointedly said he does not want to bring European-style health care to the U.S. and that he intends to introduce a government-run plan to compete with private insurance, not replace it."

IMO

Obama has said that but in reality that is what he is doing. He wants to set up a Goverment run Socialized system of Medicine controlled by a massive bureaucracy for which the American taxpayers will pay.

Instead of two parallel systems---------let's get back to the basics of a private enterprize system that works.

e.g. Medicare recipients should be given their money to buy their private insurance-----to choose. The Government beauracracy should be 100% eliminated.

Obama's solution is a duplication of the private sector's which is not needed. It is a power grasp. And, will only add to the trillions in debt which he has already put in place.

It is my firm opinion that Congress should adjourn without voting yea nor nay on the bills regarding medical insurance and so called health care being pushed.

To date there have been no public hearings of the people to give their individual opinions. This should be done much as other National Conferences have been held.

These questions are too important to leave to Congress.
