Interesting Obviously if there's a really good reason for her quitting folks will get over that, but I don't think people (except for her loving and devoted fans, who wouldn't change their allegiance even if she turned out to be the anti-christ) are going to accept "I want more national visibility" or "People were too mean to me" as "good" reasons. That comment about the cartoon of the baby was ridiculous- and I actually found 1000's of political cartoons that had babies in them. None of them were disabled babies. It's all about showing the politician holding the baby as a METAPHOR. The fact that Palin used that in her speech makes it look like she may not have a good reason. Is your new governor someone with their head screwed on straight?
