It really is remarkable, the state of chaos that is the Republican party: Ensign, Sanford, Palin. The party was already a joke. And yet somehow it just keeps getting worse. Where's the bottom? What will be the next shoe to drop? Palin really is nuts. She said staying on to do the job she was elected to do, the job she took an oath to do, would be quitting. She actually said she was quitting because to not quit would be the quitters thing to do. Abandoning the people who elected you to cash in on your celebrity is a higher calling? It amazes me that anyone would continue to defend or promote this woman, yet they do... SD
