That's what I meant.

We are headed for a web clouded with complex bloated code where sites collect data and constantly hassle you with ads.

It's going to be a problem.

I hope Firefox comes up with a solution. One big reason I use Firefox now is Flashblock. Can't live without it.

Web 2.0/ajax came in with a lot of promise that is being wrecked by greed and bad code. I've hit sites where popup blockers don't work and they hassle you before they let you leave. It's only a matter of time before they won't let you leave without force quitting your browser.

Anyone try Firefox 3.5 yet? Supports HTML 5 and ogg media files.
