i'll take issue with reagan... he put greenspan into position b/c he wanted lose monetary policy. reagan's decision to this might be the single largest reason we find ourselves near collapse. reagan also made deficits cool. or at least not that big a deal. that is working out poorly. reagan did some things right, but he wasn't nearly as good as the hype.
