Obama said he'd shake the hand of such people if they unclenched their fists. They are not unclenching, so his response will be interesting. I would not bet much at all that he is an appeasement-only politician. I bet the opposite. I take the bet. The latest report is that Obama is opposing new sanctions on Iran. He still wants to "engage", you see. Obama can be tough on allies, on Israel or Honduras. But on Iran, it's appeasement only.
