Californians pay their fair share of property and other taxes. As a matter of fact many businesses have left California because taxes are too high. Businesses move to Arizona, Texas, and other states where taxes are much lower.

The problem is not that we, Californian are undertaxed. It is just that lawmakers are spending money at the same if not higher rate than the state had a booming economy and when real estate was appreciating 50%/year. They thought that the trend would continue.

I want the lawmakers to spend money wisely and not like drunken sailors. At least drunken sailors spend their own money. Lawmakers spend taxpayers money.
