I couldn't believe the political neophyte Obama had the balls to make such a provocative statement regarding Putin. To me it seemed as though Obama was placing himself on a progressive world stage that doesn't exist. In fact it kind of reminds me of the old Andy Hardy movies where the kids (Rooney,Garland etc) say: "Hey, we can put on a show and use this old barn for a stage. Everyone will come and we can raise the money to save the old FILL IN BLANK______________! We'll show'em"!!

If Obama comes home with more than his balls in a paper sack he will be reminded how much more he could have gotten without his vile mouth. However, that is a very optimistic view on my part.

President Obama has made his first mistake in Russia even before he arrives in Moscow today. His attempt to cast Vladimir Putin as yesterday's man and to drive a wedge between the Prime Minister and President Medvedev demonstrates a misreading of relations in the Kremlin.
