Hugh has had it right for a while. It's quite the minority position that the government is not expanding money supply fast enough. The price of gold, tips, etc., the lack of movement of the dollar is suggesting that despite quite a bit of blogging and ranting from the popular media, inflation is just not a credible threat now. At some unknown point in the future, it might be.
