but up here the NW KW pods feed on fish from Puget Sound and the Fraiser River and other areas running north into B.C. for the most part. The last few years our resident pods have been found roaming down into northern California waters for a few winter months looking for fish. They normally don't do that. It's beginning to look like they are starving.

And if it weren't for the hydroelectric dams that give you guys cheap energy, wouldn't there be a lot more salmon and thus happy orcas?

My point here is - there ARE environmental side-effects to EVERYTHING, even the supposedly benign renewables liberal folks want to limit us to.
