No, they will go down kicking and screaming. That is why Democracies work. The majority gets to decide what direction we go in. So the majority of folks have already decided that they will build solar farms in our western deserts. The EPA has already broken those areas down into 24 environmental impact zones and are working through the process to pre-approve each zone for solar development. There are 150+ solar companies waiting in line to build once the EPA zone approvals come through. So it'll happen and the defenders of the spotted, cross-eyed, desert cockroach will move on to some other cause that sacrifices the forest for the trees.
