I was afraid a push-back might happen at some point in time with the "for profit" utilities but not this soon.

I'm fortunate that I'm on a not for profit utility, Seattle City Light, owned by the City of Seattle. They want people to install PV's or solar thermal to heat water on their roofs and reduce power demands on the utility.
