Will,

I transferred my open trading account from Schwab after the 1987 crash. IMO go to Vanguard- easy to reach most of the day today. I like both VST and ICO, but I think I would pick ICO as its profit picture is accelerating a little more clearly than VST's. Fortunately ICO did not move much today so it is still cheap.

I used my buying power today to place a couple of "just in case" shorts under two of the stocks in my account- otherwise I would have used the funds to purchase ICO. I may switch now to puts from shorts since the market has stabilized (we'll still swing wildly but in a trading range the rest of the year until we get through tax season I believe) and then terminate the shorts and buy some ICO myself....

Also I really like INVX- but wait for another pullback to purchase. Otherwise right here with CREAF you are looking at the biggest stock position in my account, and I added to the position during the decline. I've decided to ride the "CREAF Freight Train" into 1998 as this stock looks good on relative strength moving forward, and also just posted outstanding profits in the third quarter which as you know is usually the weakest quarter of the year for tech stocks. I'm looking for CREAF to shine brightly into 1998....

Did you receive the e-mail note I sent you last week? (It may not have gone through...).

Sincerely,

Doug F.
