You know what they don't get, Steve, is that there is more to the presidency than getting through school.

Obama had accomplished nothing of substance, even though well-educated. He was handed a Senate seat on the strength of a speech written by a 23 year old kid (now, Obama's chief speechwriter, a full 28 years old -- not experienced enough to have ANY CLUE about the realities of complex subjects like foreign policy and health care).

Would Palin have stood speechless while the Iranian protest was quelled? Not hardly. Would Palin have made the foolish mistake of releasing classified CIA memos and declaring GITMO's closure before knowing how it might be done? No way. Would Palin have ripped the confidence of the capital markets by taking money from secured debtholders and giving it to the UAW? I don't think so.

Would Palin have proposed a budget that left our children trillions more in debt? No way.

Looking objectively at Palin's positions versus Obama's, there is zero doubt this country would be better off with Palin running it than with Obama.

I'm not a Palin fan, but there is no doubt whatsoever that she would make a better president for this country than Obama. Of the major mistakes he has made, I don't think there is one of those she would have also made.
