Nothing's holding up the tech, Hawk. Sheesh. You are even more impatient than me. All new tech goes from research to development to production to scale. This one is about to go into production in a computer line this year. We'll see how far it gets.

Also, something to note. Many battery manufacturers use lithium in their batteries, but there are many different chemistries they use in the make of the battery. So even lithium batteries are all not alike. Some brands are better than others.

This is all part of the competitive process when there is huge demand. We call it the free market. ;) The winner will be the most efficient and cheapest battery. That company will get most of the EV battery business. Hopefully, that company will be American, but I doubt it.
