Hi JDN & all, got a nice piece of news on WDM (Wavelength Digital Multiplexing), an area where COHR recently began targeting substantial amount of R&D spending: biz.yahoo.com Main feature: WDM can be a means of increasing current bandwidth over fiberoptic lines 16fold or more. WOW. I never knew that bandwith comes almost free <g> (without changing those wires..) best wishes CROSSY
