Interesting article in the afternoon update of thestreet.com. For those of you not familar with this site, thestreet.com is headed by Jim Cramer who appears often on CNBC Squawkbox. It was rated in this week's Barron's as one of the best sites for stockmarket information. The article quotes several analyst in which they give their opinion about the Y2K problem. Ed Yardeni(Deutsche Morgan Grenfell)Arnie Owen(Cruttenden Roth) Alex Arnold (HC Wainwright) Stephanie Moore(Giga Information Group) Overall they are very positive about the issue and the need to address the problem.One is quoted in which he talks about the Japanese being behind in addressing the problem.Another indicates he is getting a number of phone calls asking when to buy into the Y2K stocks. Companies mentioned in a positive light are: Unicomp((UCMP) Peritus(PTUS) Seec(SEEC) Keane(KEA) If you are waiting to see if ZITL is on the list you are out of luck. The above is the list.
