My hope is that decentralization of power and services to local communities will take place softening the blows to come. That should include local currencies being issued and independently rated with the internet providing the method for comparing local currencies. Local communities will need to back their currencies with production of goods. We are a long way from that point and a bumpy road lies ahead.
