I agree 100%. Obama really dropped the ball on the economt. He could still do the right thing on the mortgage front.

And the Jackson thing was beyond the pale.

With the end of ceremonies at the Staples Center, I hope the coverage on MJ would recede and the press would increase coverage on the stimulus. Right now, right wings news outlets such as FOX are already singing the swan song of the stimulus. It is surprising that only 35 billion of the monies have been released. Obama needs to intervene here and rescue the stimulus from the bureaucratic stranglehold in DC. He needs too purge some of those Bush appointed bureaucrats before we can feel the effects of the stimulus money. It is premature to think of a second stimulus before he does so.

Palin is gone, Jackson is buried, the right wingers are out searching for their soul. For the US press, it is time to get back to work.>>
