Brian -

With AMD's dreamt earnings I don't understand how it can find support at the $24 level as it is. Aside from the speculators, I anticipate that traders will flip this stock in a range slowly losing interest until it spirals slowly downward.

If the production of the K6 is a good example for AMD handling the K7, I would be hardpressed to agree with you on AMD's "lower" costs.

At this point AMD has merit as a specualtion grade stock looking unattractive even in the teens. Remember AMDs problems in the early 90's took this puppy down to $6 and a lovely PE of 4....and at least then they had earnings on the sheet.

Good luck to the rest of you!
