the correct approach may well be people power
which requires sacrifices that team america has no stomach for and team britain has no capacity to devote to
but otherwise wisely has the merit of having worked for a few thousand years, quite successful especially when backed with usual strategems of border province security, informers, and such
so, bottom line, suspect the uigher situation will still be around for another 2 thousand years, pretty much as now, mostly harmless and inconsequential, of no weather condition
but doubt the afghanistan drama will last nearly as long ;0)
at the end of day, it could be that one gigantic clash of civilizations will stretch to include all of the middle east, a good portion of europe and central asia, a slug of india, slice of indonesia, and manhattan. |
