I don't know if this is a crazy idea or stroke of genius, but someone I talked with today said they are flying their pets cross country using a new 'pet only' airline. I looked at the website and the fares appear to be higher than that for humans on the same routes when compared on Travelocity. I suppose you can stuff more animals on a plane, so perhaps this is a potentially lucrative niche. Who knows... John petairways.com
