The U.S. Energy Information Administration is expected to report that 85
billion cubic feet
of gas were added to storage during week ended July 3,
according to the average prediction of 16 analysts and traders in a Dow Jones
Newswires survey.

Injection estimates for this week's EIA report ranged from
71 bcf to 100 bcf with most traders and analysts expecting
stocks to rise by about 83 bcf when data is released Thursday
at about 10:30 a.m. EDT, a Reuters survey showed.

For the same week last year stocks rose an adjusted 89 bcf,
while the five year average gain for that week is 90 bcf.
If weekly injections match the five-year average for the
remaining 18 weeks of the stock building season, storage will
begin next winter with a record high 3.845 tcf in the ground.
