I've been wrestling with the question of why liberals are so hateful towards SP and can't help but believe that it is in retribution for the way Bill Clinton was, and still is treated by Conservatives.

That doesn't answer why Sarah Palin and not some other target. They don't behave this way to Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty.

Elitist contempt, sexism, and a profound fear that they won't own to, is my answer.
