>>>>WEB TRADING<<<< there's an old saying that applies to a lot of things is life: "You get what you pay for". not trying to rub anyone the wrong way, but trading was 'fast' and quotes were slow for everyone today; even those with quote machines right on their desk. and a lot of limit orders did not get filled today because of the 'fast' market. days like this, if you want in or out, a market order is the only sure way of getting filled. it's certainly nice to have a real person working for you on days like this; sometimes you just have to use the manual override feature to get things done. jl p.s. i certainly appreciate the work and effort that Gus brings to this board with his excellent posts. it takes a lot of time to do what he does for us. i don't make posts here due to no technical background, but i do post regularly on several other boards for which i am more qualified and it's a challenge to keep quality info flowing and refrain from becoming just a cheerleader.
