Karun:

Careful. Intel already has a buyback in place and announced today that it would not increase its current buyback plan:

biz.yahoo.com

I've heard that the second 5 points of INTC's 10 point pop today was due to the rumor, so INTC may be down tomorrow a.m.

On another note, I also got shut out of both Fidelity Spartan (for Fidelity's "active traders"!?!; the automated answering service would answer then switch to a busy signal for the trading desk) and Fidelity's TouchTone Express (like you, I got a busy signal until late morning). For future reference, I think Judy had the answer with her limit orders, but I wasn't that focused at the end of the day yesterday.

Bart was toying with the idea of getting AB Watley's Ultimate Trader which has both a real time data feed (PCQuotes, I think) and an integrated order execution system. They say that orders are executed within 5 seconds (probably on any day other than a 1 billion share day). It would be interesting if anyone using Ultimate Trader could tell us how well it functioned this morning?

Good trading.
