Addi; You're right and further more many of these companies (not INTC) don't even have the money to buyback their stock. Investors simply don't bother to look at the companies balance sheet to find this out. The share buyback announcement has become the biggest and cheapest promotional ploy out there. Never get fooled by that trick.
