Wood is renewable in that you can grow new trees. And the governmental mandates both in Europe and the US treat it so.

Can't see why horses wouldn't be considered renewable too.

I know these things aren't the things that gets liberals hearts fluttering but they are renewable.

As for being limitless: WSince the earth is finite, nothing is truly limitless. We could cover all the earth that can grow trees with them in theory - the only ultimate limit would be the amount of land on earth that can grow trees. Wind and solar and tidal power would be subject to that same theoretical limit. We could cover the earth with solar cells and windmills but ultimately the earth is finite. And we could install tidal power facilities on every mile of shoreline, but eventually we'd run out of shoreline.

As for being free:

Nothing is free. Wind has to be harnessed, converted to a usuable form and transmitted to where its needed. Solar ditto.

Nothing is free, nothing is limitless.
