Schwab doesn't get it. They have the big bank/telco mentality it seems.

Obviously they do not view themselves as in business to satisfy their small active customers. Same thing happened in '87. Shoulda been prepared. There's plenty of scalable server and transaction technology out there. I'm sure the big boys feasted away while the small investors got the scraps.

I'm sure many Schwab people view this as a PR problem, not one of customer service. That's a big step down the slippery slope toward decline and fall.

Barriers to switching are low, after 16 years with Schwab I'm gonna look at alternatives.

I'm pissed. Where do folks post experiences with other web-based discount brokers? I hear many performed pretty badly.

I expect Schwab to deliver the best service, being the cheapest doesn't matter to me.
