Who is talking about the bad old 90's?

The issue with the 90's line is that they did not have to many model lines but different configurations of the same model packaged for the big box retailers. Also, aapl's image back than was horrible with lousy quality control and the market acceptance of windoze 95.

What is your definition of cheap? $1500? $2000?

aapl's current share is meaningless due to small numbers. There is a lot more app development for the iPhone/itouch due to sheer size and a diverse model portfolio. aapl is pulling all the stops to keep that business in high market share but unwilling for their computer line.

aapl's failed to expand their mac share when the market turned sour on vista. W7 most likely will turn back any of the little mac share gains.
