Solar and wind do cost money. Sunlight and wind may be free, but you can't convert either into energy we can use without substantial investment.

I could claim that trees grow for free if I wanted. Trees after all grow because of that free sunshine and free rain. But you still have to cut them down and transport them to where you want to burn them.

The only obtusenesss here is on your part, pretending that solar and wind are "free". Frankly, the truth is energy from solar snd wind is currently some of our most expensive energy.

Yes, I know you guarantee us it will be cheaper any day now, if we just spend enough federal money adopting it. That may or may not be true. But even so, energy from solar and wind will never be free.

go to your deathbed rather than give one inch in a debate, even when you know you are wrong. Man, you have some serious issues.

I'll tell you what is stubborn. Its pretending energy from solar and wind are free. Its one thing for you to promise it will be cheaper someday because as yet undiscovered breakthroughs but to go beyond that to insist its free is ridiculous.

If you were to put your promises - that solar and wind will be free - or even that it will soon be cheaper than other energy sources - in a securities prospectus, you could go to prison for fraud. Do you realize that? You can say whatever you want only cause no money is going to change has as a result of your promises.
