I would buy one. Did you know that 99% of Americans drive less than 60 miles per day? 80% drive less than 40 miles per day.

The fact is that the average American family really only needs one range extended vehicle and one commuter vehicle that goes highway speeds and gets 60 miles per charge.

then you want to limit us to only 250 miles per day on a cross-country trip.

How many days out of the year do you make cross country trips? Most Americans don't do that every day. My family makes cross country trips once a year. So I need range extension once a year. The rest of the year, I drive on average 50 miles a day on the roundtrip to and from work. My wife drives around the community on errands and visiting friends and drives about the same number of miles. Both of us could use a commuter car 99% of the time and never miss a beat.

You're simply not looking at the facts when you make your statements.
