Personal Comment on "New General Motors expected to exit Chapter 11"

Everybody has seen this headline. I simply wanted to point out that the banks and Barney Frank's crew argued against nationalization of the banks on the grounds that the government would never retreat from the banks. It seems that GM is getting cleaned up pretty quickly. Roubini and his crew are on record stating that the banks could be run through BK very quickly. So why the special treatment for the banks if it worked for GM???
