Global warming legislation in Oz was killed. I doubt that was lost on Obama or any other western gov't. Thankfully, in order to delay the next glacial epoch, we can promote warming via coal dust aerosols etc.

Past global warming events were characterized by a large decrease in desert areas and a dramatic increase in bio diversity. Unfortunately, the current inter glacial may be coming to an end.
