I know the general idea of a stimulus and how it's supposed to work, but it's kind of amuses me to see Obama and Biden talking as if the stimulus should have already had an effect.

Guess I missed that.

Of course you agree with Krugman and think the "stimulus" wasn't big enough. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that Congress had to pass SOMETHING and pretend they're working hard to "prevent a crisis from turning into a catastrophe."

You might not have noticed, because you have a job, but this is a "crisis and catastrophe" right now. It could have been much worse... and may still be.

Now what? Time for a second stimulus, or wait for the first one to take effect?

I say wait and see. As you know I agree the deficit spending causes a lot of harm... a necessary evil. But we better be ready to react, without partisan bickering, it we get a second emergency.

Seems like Obama is running low on political capital. People are waking up to the exorbitant cost of his "ambitious agenda" and are wondering when the bill is coming due. No wonder Obama is trying to rush things.

You are delusional. 58% approval rating. People love him. You thought Bush was OK under 40% and now Obama is "running low" under 60%. Get a grip on your partisan prejudice.
