What you said is always, by definition, relevant to what you said. That's true but meaningless.

You said "the wars where not part of the deficit". That's simply false. They where part of the deficit (no way they couldn't have been as long as you have both the wars and the deficit, and the wars have a net financial cost), and also where part of the official record of the deficit. You may have meant that they where not part of (some of) the estimates of the deficit, but that isn't what you actually said, and also isn't relevant to the post you replied to.
