It would be wonderful if every market day both longs and shorts had the rare opportunity to profit from the same stock !... Having said that, I do feel for those out there who were not so fortunate (or should I say lucky ?). You see, we are dealing with a closed system here. If you (long) and I (short) both profited from the same stock, then it must mean that somebody else out there was not as fortunate. Do you see what I mean ?
