One thing that is clear is that we are going to need a lot of infrastructure to process, gather, and transport all of this natural gas.

Which is where ESA comes in. It is all about natural gas infrastructure in the Marcellus Shale for now. With time it has ambitions to expand beyond the Marcellus Shale, but for now the majority of its activities are right in the middle of the Marcellus.

It is the right company in the right place in the right time.
In their first six weeks of existence (8/15/8 thru 9/30/8) the "acquired companies produced $2,093,087 in earnings during the period from the August 15, 2008 through September 30, 2008."

That comes to $.17 per share of earning s in 6 weeks. ESA however is a very seasonal company so this is difficult to translate into yearly earnings.

This past winter was very slow for ESA. This was due both to an extremely cold winter and a crashing economy and markets.

But things are turning around and indications are that business is booming.

The problem for now is that there is a "dearth of published actionable material". That should change with time. At some point ESA will make a push to raise the stock price, but they are waiting until they feel the time is right.

I remain convinced that ESA at today's price is a bargain.
