Or the legislative skill, which is what is beginning to alarm supporters like Eleanor Clift. A president who leaves it up to Congress to set both the process and the goals for major, far-reaching pieces of legislation, particularly when the Speaker is as dumb as Nancy Pelosi, can expect more train wrecks than successful passages.

Every train wreck costs political capital. Obama's numbers are starting to drop precipitously, and we are just approaching the six month mark of his administration.
