Statistics are powerful tools if you know how to use them.

Yeah... They certainly are.. Look how the Rating Agency's statistical analysis of FICO scores permitted Investment Banks to turn sh*t into gold in the Asset Backed Securities markets. All of those models were based upon statistical analysis expected default rates.

Did they match the actual reality?

At a 40-50 mile range, they would literally meet the needs of 75% of consumers.

All except that inconvenient over-night plug in requirement and having to pay 1 1/2 to 2 times the cost of currently fuel efficient vehicle.

I'll wait for your statistics to catch up with reality.
