The question is, why are people like Peggy Noonan, Charles Krauthammer and McCain campaign aides ripping her to shreds?

There is no evidence that McCain campaign aides have said a damned thing. All we know is that there have been "unnamed sources", which given the liberal media of today, isn't worth a bucket of warm spit.

I have nothing to say about Noonan, as I don't consider her to be a serious columnist.

But Krauthammer is an absolute political genius. And his remarks have been taken out of context IMO. He did say Palin was not a serious contender for the presidency, but he also said in the same sentence that "she had to go home and study" in order to come back as a serious player, and thus far she hasn't done that. The direct quote was, "She had to go home and study and spend a lot of time on issues in which she was not adept last year, and she hasn’t. She has to stop speaking in clichés and platitudes."

He also said, in the same interview, "...if you want to be a presidential candidate for the Republican party you have to be able to speak on issues of which she cannot yet and yes, there is time, but months are wasting away. She ought to bone up and then I think she'd be reconsidered as a serious candidate."

So, Krauthammer has certainly not ruled her out as a candidate; he simply said as has everyone else that she needs to be doing some homework at this time and she isn't doing it.

I wouldn't dispute that Palin has insufficient experience for the presidency, but she has a TON more than Obama. Which was the issue at hand. She was FAR BETTER qualified for the presidency than Obama.

Krauthammer has referred to Obama as "insubstantial" and "shallow". "Weak" and "thin". He has referred to Obama's speech as "A Brilliant Fraud". And these are the more complimentary things Krauthammer has said about Obama.

The fact is that Krauthammer recognizes Obama for what he is -- an exception talent at reading the teleprompter, but inexperienced and gullible and weak and everything we DON'T want in a president. Krauthammer is quick to give Obama praise when he does something right, however.

You leftwing nutjobs have free floating hatred for Palin and it is unjustified and unjustifiable.
