SoundView Financial Group Inc said it raised its short-term rating on shares of DELL COMPUTER CORP to buy from hold while keeping its long-term buy rating on the stock. Analyst Mark Specker raised his 1998 earnings estimate to $2.55 per share from $2.36 per share and his 1999 estimate to $3.41 per share from $2.89 per share. Set short-term price target of $110.
