We had 4 horses. 1 we gave away, and 3 have passed on. Riding is an incredible feeling. Pillsbury was my favorite. He was a Tennessee Walker who had been at Auburn used for 'tests' on how to train them to walk that way without using painful methods. He was then lined up for the glue factory. seriously. sister #2 said no she'd buy him, and hence he came to the farm. He was wild and edgy and incredibly fast. you had to let him have his head, just flow with him. and keep the flies away. speaking of phobias, he had a fly phobia. "I'll swat the fly, Pills, just don't throw me, k?" he was an understanding being that way.

yep, ride some when you can. but not doudy horses. the wilder the better. smile.
