why cant the market systems serve themselves with the market going up?
They can and have, the duration determined ultimately by available supply.....
more trading, fewer companies, less market float reduces to contrivance. with prices being adjudicated by factors other than owners of stock transacting shares in a free market.
my opinion about direction is from market characterization studies...just an opinion, cast within a framework....that includes the above data.
