Aside from calling oneself a market-this or a market-that, your own post #1913 reports DOW 7161 to be an important lowpoint for this correction according to BB's local CA radio interview - that's close to the DOW 7,000 low range predicted just last Friday by The Garz.

The Garz also predicted a high of DOW 8500-8600, very close to the DOW target BB has had in recent months.

Don't get me wrong, my respect for The Garz will never be restored after that horrendous call in July 1996. Frankly, as I watched the Garz make the prediction on NBR, I had the exact reaction you expressed in your note to me. However, I think it's interesting how close these two smart people's current forecasts seem to be. I also took her large predicted range to mean that she was forecasting increased volitility. I sure hope the volitility doesn't expand to the ranges you expressed in your note (5000-9000 or 2000 to 10000).

I only have respect for and follow one advisor. That's BB. However, I do try to listen to as many points of view as possible. I'm not only interested in their predictions, I'm even more interested in understanding their thinking process so I can evaluate it and learn from it if possible.

Thanks for your report in post #1913 which elaborated on BB's interview. Together wiht Mr. Rice's post yesterday re "the 3 phases", it really helps us know BB's current thinking in this time of dangerous opportunity.
