Obama Rejects Second Stimulus That would be the third or fourth stimulus wouldn't it? There was the stimulus plan from Bush and some have called Tarp a stimulus plan. What would you have Obama do - nothing? That would be political suicide. The Bush stimulus obviously didn't work and Obama's may not either - but as a nation we better suck it up, stop bitching and work together as a society. I'm so sick of everyone blaming each other climbing into their respective ideological corners - but have nothing real to offer. What we need is time, lots of time to deleverage the mess made before Obama was our President. He's been president for barely 6 months and unless you think the economy can be turned off and on like a water faucet, what does one really expect given the economy he inherited? With the comments on this thread, I would think the people here for the most part would be cheering Obama for dismissing a second stimulus. steve
